i think most of the people currently on the forum have already seen these... but here are a bunch of doodles i did in the margin of some homework
people on twitter kept saying that dave here looks like saul goodman, but i don't see it!

Meat, those are really good! Absolutely love the neck blurring into the head on that first guy, with the chin being implied by the lines of the homework. And, is this weird? I really like how you draw noses. It's very nice and varied!!

I mean... I kinda see it? But not every guy with a side-sweep and long oval face is a saul goodman. Wack!

nice sketches, meat! i've already sung their praises so i won't do it again, but i will point out that your rose looks very chasey! something about how the hair is drawn, i think

sweet dave, this sounds vague but i really like how you proportioned him here. i can 100% see the saul goodman similarities, the hair almost seems like an exact match (though he has quite a lot less volume)
i can also see how the rose is a little chasey as well, i take that as a good thing
as for myself, i very rarely pick up a pen since most of my work is digital, and i prefer working with a mouse or sometimes my phone. however lately ive been keeping a tiny tiny little notebook in my pocket if i ever feel like jotting down ideas when im out.
the sketches themselves are never much, but most often i find myself sketching down designs and ideas for a project im currently working on, as well as some other stuff. its very fun to draw in this thing just cause its so damn tiny, and i never like drawing big or detailed when i do ink

posting my traditional art as well to not be left out, even though i do a lot more stuff digitally like boqol. heres a page of my sketchbook scraps that i did at school these last 2 days
a lot of is nonsensical, i just do anything to procrastinate on the fly, but i think some of these are pretty good! a lot of homestuck too
also, i don't know if anyone else does this, but i keep finding myself collecting unbinded pages at the start of my sketchbook! i just kind of have the urge to rip some out and then i collect them in bunches. the main reason for this, i think, is just because i like the feel of a single page on the desk way more than inside of the sketchbook itself. i have a lot more of these, with varying qualities, so if anyone else wants me to share the rest i'd gladly oblige

experimenting with styles! yay!!! i currently cannot sleep as you can probably tell by the time this is posted. so i decided to do some sketching since it felt like a good way to pass the time and also just a good way to brush up on stuff.
my laptop is currently dead because (i think) the charging port is busted and now the charger does not go in all the way anymore. so now i am on a back-up laptop that my friend gave to me before starting college. luckily it takes the same charger, but it's a lot smaller and less powerful than my other one. it's only running well right now because there is literally almost nothing on it besides what it needs to run properly. i'm really bummed about the other laptop though, especially since all my drawings and stuff are on there. i could be making digital stuff on this one, but i think i just want to use it for school as of right now. i'll just stick to sketching stuff in my sketchbook, lol.
okay, i know i got a little off topic and ranted for a sec there. in my defense; i'm crazy.

the latest thing in my sketchbook remains my sketch of a character's land for an rp i'm in, the land of Domes and Frogs. a bit before that i was making some passes at drawing an older character again, trying to get her shapes down.
Spoiler!
that's hera ramona (slash hera martell. the thing i did most often with her was have her be married to a friends character) i made her in, like, early 2019 but haven't really used her since 2020 since the group i mostly used her with drifted apart mostly
edit: jeez! is there a way to put a max height on images here? iill just spoil em
edit 2: ok, really weird, it seems like you can only have one working spoiler! thats fucked
