Ever seen Fritz Lang's Metropolis? I think this is the full version, there are some shorter editions. A long silent movie, but it's still really good and topical, and maybe you'd enjoy seeing some film history.

i doont think i did ! no. adding that to the list. thanks chase.
i haaaave been a bit too uninterested in movie watching lately, wanting to play some casual video games and doodle more, but its good that i'm finally (mostly) free of all my usual duties for the moment, that was one of the big things not letting me watch these with a clear mind. hopefully, when i feel in the spirit, i get to strike a few of these off the list. and by that i mean watch them.

watched barbie!! it was a great movie. i dont really know what to say, trying to keep the spoilers in this thread very minimal, but it was pretty good, great story with a lot of funny moments, and also made me feel very sentimental, surprisingly! it was great. there were times where i was like, "really? im actually watching a movie about barbie?", but then i felt pretty silly cause the movie was good and had hooked me. i'd reccomend it
i also watched a few other movies that werent on the list, like rewatching across the spider-verse and also watching the new TMNT movie, mutant mayhem. really great stories and animation, and i particularly really enjoyed the entire feeling of mutant mayhem with the action really mingling well with the comedy and pacing
i also really, really feel like watching talk to me, the new a24 movie. i might go watch it in cinemas, since theres no way its releasing on digital soon, so im really excited about that. i like the feeling of going to the cinemas and all.
