your action pieces are always very interesting thayle. interesting is a pretty charged word when used to describe someone's art, but it is true! your art is just interesting-- i don't see anybody else who draws even a little bit like you do.
this one is probably my favourite drawing of yours, the foreshortening and black&whites are just awesome. i actually dont know how you drew this! since i dont know if you have a drawing tablet or not

HEHEHEHEH thank you my good friend deacon! The twist is that I draw with a trackpad, but I use a custom dynamics setting in GIMP that resizes the line based on current velocity, and set my trackpad sensitivity to ULTRA HIGH. This allows me to have a dynamic kind of line based on the little shifts in speed of my finger on the trackpad. It took a lot of getting used to this method tbh, but it makes me feel powerful. GIMP is already the art program for mad scientists, but then I'm also using the worst input method? Wow. I feel badass working with shit tools to make beauty, like Macgyver. It's why I built a flashlight from scrap that one time!
The foreshortening is all manual - I think of it kind of like... I have the picture in my head already, then I turn the picture so the important corner approaches the viewer and the other stuff slides farther away. It's not a linear transition, either. I do much better thinking of perspective in curves like a fisheye lens. I love when space curls like that too, so it all works out.

i think that would be swell! i'm guessing your signature is part of the potential adventure? look out for onlookers is a great tagline/title, btw.
the way the rocks in the background are kind of pinky/purpley is really great, it gives the drawing this real nice evening feel.

here's a piece i'm real proud of!
this was one of my artfight attacks this year, i was super in love with this character's design and absolutely had to get on it ASAP.
