Forced https redirects and announcements

hey guys, i figured out how to force https redirects so you don't have to worry about connecting to insecure domains anymore! in theory... thanks etch for telling me this was a thing that exists.

also there is a topic for announcements now. i'll just post a new one-reply topic any time i have an announcement. not the most orderly way to do it probably, but better than having one topic for announcements you'd have to read thru! plus you can just read topic names as like, the cliff notes version... anyways this is already too long. blargh.
