oh man, powder game was a big one back in elementary school! honestly, there were so many fun browser games i used to play that it's hard to pick a fave. mostly i just remember the websites: nitrome, miniclip, onemorelevel, cool math games, the works!

now, though, i mostly just play tetris. specifically jstris, which is a competitive, online, multiplayer version of tetris. i wasted a lot of time in lectures on this bad boy.

EDIT: i forgot to mention skywire VIP, which i loved to play as a kid. i was obsessed with pop culture, i loved reading wikis after school and learning movie references and stuff. i'm still like that, i guess (i think homestuck brought this tendency out in me after a few years of laying dormant). i was always a fast-typer, too, so this game was super addictive to me. i think this is how i learned about donnie darko

As soon as I posted my last comment I remembered Nitrome, I used to play games there a lot. I think my favorite one was the ice breaking one, with the vikings. Never heard of Skywire VIP, but it was fun when I played it right now (until I got to characters apparently from a Nitrome game. I haven't looked at this site in years, how unfair to me). Jstris wasn't as fun because I just kept losing after dropping like 4 blocks, I'm slow at games like Tetris or Doctor Mario.

both powder game 2 and nitrome are AWESOME, though i never really played the former, only some cheap knockoffs every so often. but still, i feel like i get the gist of it. just played it rn before replying and i got lost in the moment. my favorite nitro game was the one where you slay dragons and shit, i forgot the name of it

also another good game i just remembered, neverending legacy. awesome game by the same guy who made cookie clicker. not as polished as it, but still worthwhile
