im like, in the process of moving back for school and stuff, and i was on campus visiting some friends and i went to this party thing that was going on and i totally didnt get the appeal at all. like everyone was already bunched up in their group of friends, and it was outside too? like just out in some courtyard right next to the dorms... some poor bastards living on the ground floor had to deal with all that noise. and it was cold too cause it was outside. and like, i waded through the people for a bit and then immediately got this primal feeling telling me to leave and i got the fuck out of there immediately. it was so weird and lame! now im back in my place and im not even finished unpacking.... kind of blows but not actually

i was approached by a jehova's witness this morning. i was waiting for the bus to school and i was worried i missed it and then he just showed up from across the street. like i guess he saw i was alone and thought i was an easy mark

idk. i thought he was a business student because he was wearing a full suit but then obviously he wasnt. he showed me this pamphlet and asked me some questions and stuff and i just politely listened and went along with it because i didn't want to make him feel bad by messing with him (he was like a year younger than me). and because i just dont like to be rude. at the end he asked if i wanted his number if i had questions and i was so slick, i was like "oh is there any contact info in the pamphlet?" so i just took the pamphlet. he asked what my name was and i panicked and lied and said it was fred because i was thinking of fred wilmore from home-skillet (if you know about that). then i started walking in the direction of school and i saw the bus pull up to the stop ahead of me and i ran and just barely got on. it was funny

i dont think he thought you looked like an easy mark! maybe he just thought u looked like a nice guy yk... i think its better than my asking for number incident today bc the guy literally looked like he could be my dad! or like, a friend's dad so i legit thought he was LOSTTTT

This is such a human experience ..... weeks ago I saw mormons walking in my area in approximately 28 degrees of heat ('feels like 32') (82 F / 89 F) in their dress shirts and black trousers and it's astounding. they can give up so muchfor their love. they are so dedicated to their religion they will walk to the ends of the earth. And then you started walking in the direction of school...

my 'friend' of 7 years drove 7 and a half hours and crossed the border to see me a few days ago and we got evil repellent sigils on our skin

pardon us i was 12. but one of my friends met her partner on a minecraft server. the one that she and i also met on. she is actually taking a plane to another continent to move in with them tomorrow. so it's ok..This is internet romance. The world is beautiful

you really have an eye for the beauty in things, peppyk! i wish i had a better handle on what is and isn't beastly, but you always manage to embody the idea.

i am glad you and your bud got to meet, it's always a treat getting to meet online friends. i was lucky enough to meet some of my oldest online friends in person because i knew them through a guy who knew them all in real life. it was a really wonderful afternoon when we all hung out. it is like, one of my life's goals to meet all my online friends, maybe it would be like a cool road trip. and also i met meatman in person a while back (she is on the forum!) which was also really cool. we went to this small comic con in the summer heat and i bought an issue of jack staff.

it's funny how innocuous a lot of long lasting online friendships start. i think i met most of the people here by just joining random discord servers and joking around about homestuck, certainly less interesting than tumblr asks.

also your minecraft server mention made me remember this one anarchy server i played on as a kid where i had this rival who would always kill me. and i would always ask him not to kill me and he'd do it anyways. and one day, i joined the server and he was flying around, so i called hax on him, but then it turned out he had bought admin privileges! so he could torment me with all kinds of hellish powers. it was the worst day of my life

I'm not sure if this is the best place to ask this, but also I don't think there's anywhere else better, but I just noticed your Godking Emperor rank, Deacon. Are you gonna put in other ranks, too? Those are normally obtained by having a bunch of posts, aren't they? This is really only the second or so forum I've been on so I'm not sure.

huh, i never thought about putting in other ranks before! but that is a great idea chase, i just might have to do that! or who knows, maybe i'll give people custom ranks if they do something i think is funny or notable here. but that is less likely cause people might not like their really weird and specific ranks
